Victor Garber's Ears

Sleep soundly young Rose for I have built you a good ship, strong and true, she’s all the lifeboats you need.

-Boat Six Won’t Return-

"Garber deserves an Oscar nomination for his earnest, intense performance as the ship’s main designer. He is, at first, rightfully proud of his ship. But when the iceberg hits, he is the first to accept that “the ship will sink.” When he walks up the grand staircase, and Rose inquires about why everyone is being made to wear their life-vests, Garber’s eyes (and watch his extraordinarily expressive eyebrows here) burn with guilt, shame, and fear as he explains to Rose of the inevitable."

Mr Andrews ♥

Well, gentlemen one half of our great adventure is over. We have conceived and given birth to a mighty child. But as I see her at the quayside I realize, it is not just the ship that has backbone of steel, but the people who built her. Good luck to all of us, and God protect us.

Water… fourteen feet above the keel in ten minutes. In the forepeak, in all three holds and in the boiler room six.

You remember what I told you about the boats?
